Kiera and Liam turned 9 months old on July 8th. Liam commemorated the occasion by FINALLY learning how to crawl. Hopefully this means he will be able to keep up with his "big" sister now! In addition to crawling, they are both eating lots more solid food; Kiera's current favorites are yogurt and toast, and Liam seems to be pretty fond of pureed sweet potatoes (ick!) and is starting to show interest in crackers and even ate a little bit of cheese today. LJ still outweighs his sister by about 5 pounds, but she is faster and far more adventurous with her attempts to stand and pull herself up using just about anything (including toys that move, empty boxes and of course, her brother's head...all leading to the "incident reports" we have started to get from daycare every time she gets a bump or bruise!). They are both saying "dada" and "mama", although I'm not sure they actually mean anything yet. The year is definitely flying by - it will be October 8, 2011 before you know it - get your party hats ready :)
Love the Frick and Frack shirts!! :) and give that "big" boy some time - he has more to move so it takes a little more strength ;) Don't worry - before you know it they both will be running circles around you and jumping off/climbing everyone thing (just give them 6 more months!!) Love to all!
